Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation Police DLLR Website

The Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation (DLLR) transitioned from the 1916 reorganized State Board of Labor and Statistics, which was empowered to mediate labor disputes and enforce laws concerning hours of work and employment of women and minors. Today, the DLLR supervises employment training, job match services, unemployment insurance, and many of the State's licensing and regulatory boards while safeguarding and protecting Maryland citizens by supporting the economic stability of the State.
